The Austin Hooper Foundation was founded in 2020 by Cleveland Browns TE Austin Hooper with the Vision that every Foster Child deserves a chance. Growing up in a philanthropic family, as well as being a product of De La Salle High School whose motto is entering to learn, leave to serve, Austin always knew he wanted to make a difference. When Austin entered the league in 2016 he started doing small charitable endeavors, however, he knew he always wanted to make a greater impact when able. He started doing his research and found that the Foster Care System was very underserved. Austin knew then and there that this would be his area of focus and he would use his platform to maximize the impact of serving Foster Care Children, with an emphasis on those aging out.
Since its inception in 2020, the Austin Hooper Foundation has helped countless Foster Care Children with scholarship programs and granting wishes to help them foster their passion and find their career paths.
